Party Pants Painter Overalls

This new capsule collection of overalls is named Party Pants, and is dedicated to my dear friend, Cat. She is an inspiration, an incredibly compassionate human, an amazing art teacher and when we are together, it’s always a party. (Is it Topo Chico time?)

This little capsule collection was created over several months. I started these overalls in the fall, and over at least six sessions added layers and layers of color. There are several different dye techniques as well as a final paint layer on top.These were washed and dried each time making them incredibly soft with a lived in feel.

These are dyed on 100% cotton, mid-weight Dickies Women’s overalls. There is a bib pocket, front, back and painters pockets. These have button sides. The waist is firm, with loose legs and adjustable straps.

My advice is to shop based on the hip measurement, and typically, the rest of the garment will be a perfect fit.

Jen has cut her overalls and folded them over.

• M: Waist: 38, Hip: 42

• L: Waist: 40, Hip:44
